I actually bought the product as a gift for my brother, and it’s awesome for watching Blu-ray movies, without much of conflict when using the normal controller.

Spending the extra $100 for the PS3 versus “just” a blue ray player gets justified once I ordered my beter half this remote so she too could run it!

A fine remote.
This remote is bluetooth so it’s very responsive when it’s on and you don’t have to point it at the PS3 for it to work.

Very poor responsiveness
Do not buy this. When you press fast forward or rewind, it all works fine, but when it comes time to press play or pause the Playstation often does not respond to the button…

Spoiled by this remote
Use only one hand instead of two. That simple. With a dualshock3 you need both hands, while with this remote you need only one while the other one grabs the popcorn.

Works as it should!
What can I say, it is the licensed remote by Sony for the PS3, and it works great. Great price at Amazon, and it shipped free with my other items.

Must have for PS3
Using the game controller was a pain for DVD/Bluray playing. Sony should include this remote controller. I like the fact that it is NOT rechargeable, just good old 2 AA.

A must for the ps 3
This product is great as it is a must for the ps 3. I got tired of pressing the wrong button on my controler so i had to have it. I got it the cheapest through amazon!
