Present the First Transparent OLED display on a Laptop
When I saw the video and futuristic prototypes with augmented reality transparent screens early in 2008 thought that for many years to come, at least I thought that after 2015, but soon or is already two years and the first working prototype of a transparent and functional screen.
Many may ask why should a transparent screen? Then on a laptop may not be of much use, but imagine a camera, lenses or augmented reality devices which are like a window that shows everything as it is the other side, but adding information superimposed on this “window”. Better still would be in the future could also make transparent or opaque to the user’s request.
In fact a few months ago Philips was working on developing transparent OLED screens, but Samsung Mobile Display and OLED Association are a step forward in the CES2010 show the first prototype laptop with a transparent OLED display qFHD (Quad Full High Definition) 14-inch .
When the screen is off, is up to 40% transparent when turned on, you can clearly see the screen, but you can see through it. And even now has no practical use, Samsung says that this technology could be used in future for MP3 players, advertisements and laptops, cameras, lenses and devices for augmented reality or simply resemble computer monitors of the film
