AT&T confirms Mobile Hotspot for iPhone with OS 4.3

In an email to phonescoop, Seth Bloom (spokesman for AT&T) confirmed that AT&T will indeed add the Mobile Hotspot feature to their version of the iPhone with OS 4.3, when it becomes available on March 11th. Mr. Bloom goes on to say, ”To utilize this feature, customers will need to subscribe to the DataPro 4GB/$45 tethering data plan.” This is the same DataPro plan that users currently need to tether their iPhone to their laptop. Of course this added Mobile Hotspot feature will now allow users to connect multiple devices to their iPhone via a WiFi connection.

Nikon Digital Picture Frame Converts 2D Photos Into 3D

Nikon has just unveiled a new digital picture frame that is capable of converting any images from 2D photos into glorious 3D.

The NF-300i digital picture frame has a 7.2-inch display an LCD panel with lenticular lenses allowing 3D images to be viewed within about 1m from the frame.

The Nikon 3D frame comes with Android 2.1 installed and the resolutions of both the 2D and 3D images is 800 x 600. Its also equipped with an Ethernet port supporting 100Base-TX, a USB port and a wireless LAN capability compatible with IEEE802.11b/g.
